Meet the Calder's

Hi! We’re Brodie and Laura Calder, and we’re so glad you’re here.

Utah Gathering Place began as a dream for our own family—a special place where we could slow down, gather together, celebrate the good things in life, and make memories that would last for generations.

When we designed and built this property, we poured so much thought and love into every detail. Everything has a purpose, and everything was created to be enjoyed. From the spaces where you gather around a table to the places where kids can run, play, and explore, we wanted this to feel like a place where memories naturally happen.

But not long after creating our own little gathering place, we discovered something we hadn’t expected: so many other families wanted a place just like this.

As we began sharing our home with others, we fell in love with becoming a small part of people’s biggest moments—birthday celebrations, family reunions, weddings, reunions, milestones, and simple weekends spent together. We’ve watched families laugh, celebrate, reconnect, and create memories of their own, and it has become one of our favorite things.

Eventually, we decided to officially open Utah Gathering Place to the public.

And honestly, it has become so much more than a rental property to us. With every gathering, our circle of friends grows. We get to meet incredible people, hear their stories, and send them home with memories they’ll carry with them for years to come.

We built Utah Gathering Place for our family, but we’re grateful that we now get to share it with yours.
